The woman is suspended between memory, time and transformation, as though the self is being continuously rewritten by what has passed. Ink creates a precise, almost anatomical structure, while gold leaf interrupts it with moments of light suggesting both permanence and fragility.

A study in contrast between value and decay. Crowned in gold, the figure’s face begins to dissolve. Asking the question of what it means to be seen as precious and what that demand can erase.
The gold catches the light, while the blurred features suggest an identity slowly worn away beneath expectation.
